You know this might be the best one yet! The Aorta of the heart even! People are going to have a hard time believing you haven't rigged this in some way :)
I know, really I do. One day I was photographing another amazing one on the sidewalk and a student of mine happened by. He said, "You know, if I didn't know you, I'd think you were making all of this up!"
This nearly decomposed leaf was just there, flattened into the sidewalk, as we passed by on our daily dog walk. Amazing, isn't it? I don't even own Photoshop, so the only editing I can do (like the color tones in this one) is in i-photo. Very limited. Which keeps me honest. :)
